Shareen M. Greenbaum, M.D. is a native of Southeast Michigan. Dr. Greenbaum attended the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Distinction, with a major in Spanish language. She continued her education at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, Michigan. Doctor Greenbaum then completed her residency training in Ophthalmology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan, where she served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Greenbaum practices general ophthalmology with a focus on intraocular lens implant surgery, ophthalmic plastics and refractive surgery. She has been involved in multiple research projects and has been published in the peer-reviewed Retina Eye Journal for her research on Photodynamic Therapy for Age-Related Macular Degeneration.

Dr. Greenbaum is one of the first surgeons in Broward certified in laser cataract surgery technology. Dr. Greenbaum is able to customize each cataract surgery for individual patients creating the best vision outcome. Hollywood Eye Institute is also a dry eye center and offers alternative treatments such as autologous tears.

Dr. Greenbaum has been practicing ophthalmology in South Florida since relocating to Broward county in 2007. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children.

Dr. Greenbaum has been practicing ophthalmology in Broward county since 2007 and is a top refractive cataract surgeon in the area. She prides herself on excellent surgical results and is proficient in the use of numerous types of intraocular lens implants which are carefully chosen based on her patients' visual expectations. Additionally, she is an expert in oculoplastic procedures with a focus on eyelid and facial aesthetics.  She has advanced surgical training in a wide variety of eyelid procedures, both cosmetic and functional. In addition, she has extensive training in non-surgical procedures of the eyelids and face including the use of IPL (Intense Pulsed Light Therapy), Radiofrequency and Dynamic Muscle Stimulation in the treatment of dry eye, eyelid malpositions, as well as for facial rejuvenation and improved facial aesthetics. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children- traveling, hiking and enjoying the outdoors.

Dr. Amanda Amberg is a board-certified optometric physician at Hollywood Eye Institute, where she provides an elevated, concierge-level approach to medical eye care, dry eye rehabilitation, and ocular aesthetics. Known for her warm, polished bedside manner and meticulous clinical expertise, Dr. Amberg blends cutting-edge technology with a refined, boutique experience designed to help patients look, feel, and see their best.

A South Florida native, Dr. Amberg earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nova Southeastern University before completing both her Bachelor of Vision Science and Doctorate of Optometry at NSU’s College of Optometry. Her additional training at the VA Medical Center, West Palm Beach, established a strong foundation in the diagnosis and management of glaucoma, retinal disease, anterior segment pathology, keratoconus  and complex ocular surface conditions.

At Hollywood Eye Institute, she offers  an advanced and comprehensive approach to dry eye and ocular surface disease, offering a curated suite of treatments including iLux, Blephex, OptiLight, OptiLIFT, serum tears, punctal plugs and amniotic membrane grafts.

With an artistry-driven passion for aesthetics, Dr. Amberg specializes in nonsurgical eyelid, periocular, and facial rejuvenation, integrating light-based therapy, IPL, radiofrequency skin tightening, regenerative skincare, dynamic muscle stimulation and precision-based treatment planning. She focuses on enhancing natural beauty while restoring ocular surface health—providing results that are subtle, elevated, and tailored to each individual’s lifestyle and goals. In 2023, Dr.  Amberg was named as Newsweeks America's Best Eye Doctors-Optometrists 2023.

In 2025, Dr. Amberg was made partner-physician at Hollywood Eye Institute.

Outside the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children,  while embracing a healthy and active lifestyle. 
 

Brice Hsu, O.D. is originally from Snellville, GA. He obtained his dual undergraduate degree in Biology and Psychology at the University of Georgia. He then went on to receive his doctorate in Optometry at the University of Alabama-Birmingham. 

Afterward, he completed a residency in Primary care with an emphasis on ocular disease at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, FL. His training emphasized specialty disease care in Neuro-ophthalmology, Retina, Glaucoma, and Cornea.

Dr. Hsu aims to provide comprehensive and effective medical eye care to people of all ages. He is also interested in advanced dry eye care and myopia management. 

Outside the office, Dr. Brice Hsu enjoys going for hikes, doing Olympic weightlifting, and spending time with family. He is also conversational in Mandarin.

Marisa Eldon brings more than 25 years of clinical experience as a Nationally Certified Optician. She is a vision expert and specializes in offering the newest and best lens options with her extensive knowledge of optical lenses. She has meticulous precision in the laboratory, as she is a Master Lab Technician, and she has made and dispensed over 100,000 eyeglasses to her patients. Her annual continuing education keeps her current with the latest technology in prescription lenses. Additionally, her constant research on the current fashion trends make it possible for her to offer the most up-to-date eye wear, along with her good fashion sense. 

Marisa’s years of experience interpreting and designing eye wear and her enthusiasm for helping patients look, feel and see their best makes her a leader in her field. She prides herself on listening attentively to her patient’s needs, including their eye wear preferences, lifestyle and budget prior recommending eyeglass frames. Marisa is passionate about providing the best care for her patients and strives to meet all of their optical needs. She is committed to developing long-lasting authentic relationships with her patients, as she genuinely cares about each and every patient. 

Marisa has resided in South Florida for over 30 years. She is strongly dedicated to her charitable work through missionary and volunteer efforts. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family and friends, gardening, fitness activities, and traveling. 

Dr. Alejandro Espaillat, MD, FACS, FAAO, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Ophthalmology and Research Director of Ophthalmology at Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. A board-certified ophthalmologist, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, he is internationally recognized for his expertise in advanced cataract surgery, diabetic eye disease, and the integration of artificial intelligence in ophthalmology.

Dr. Espaillat completed extensive clinical and research training at leading institutions, including Harvard Medical School–affiliated Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and the Joslin Diabetes Center, as well as Brown University. His career reflects a rare combination of surgical excellence, academic leadership, and innovation in emerging technologies. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and textbooks, including work focused on artificial intelligence applications in healthcare and ophthalmology. His research contributions span clinical outcomes, surgical efficiency, and the development of AIdriven diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

In addition to his academic and clinical roles, Dr. Espaillat is the President of the Alejandro Espaillat Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing artificial intelligence applications in healthcare, with a focus on diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and glaucoma. Through this work, he is committed to expanding access to innovation-driven care and improving patient outcomes on a broader scale.

He has also served as an advisor and collaborator with leading medical and pharmaceutical organizations, contributing to advancements in ophthalmic care globally. An active member of multiple prestigious medical societies, Dr. Espaillat continues to shape the future of ophthalmology through research, education, and innovation.

Yolanda Marseille is a licensed Medical Aesthetician and Electrologist dedicated to helping clients achieve healthier, more radiant skin through advanced aesthetic treatments and evidence-based skincare solutions. With specialized training in skin rejuvenation, pigmentation management, chemical exfoliation, collagen stimulation, and non-invasive aesthetic technologies, she is passionate about creating personalized treatment plans that support long-term skin health, confidence, and overall wellness.

Her expertise includes Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), Low Level Light Therapy (LLLT), Radiofrequency (RF) with Dynamic Muscle Stimulation Technology (DMST), microneedling, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and advanced skin rejuvenation protocols. Yolanda utilizes a results driven approach that combines innovative technology with customized skincare recommendations to address concerns such as hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, texture irregularities, acne, signs of aging, inflammation, and overall skin vitality.

Dr. Tran earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Vision Science before receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry. His education and clinical training have equipped him with extensive experience in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of a wide range of ocular conditions. Fluent in both English and Vietnamese, Dr. Tran is proud to serve a diverse patient population by delivering culturally sensitive, accessible, and personalized care that helps patients feel informed, comfortable, and confident throughout every stage of their eye care journey.

As a member of the clinical team at Hollywood Eye Institute, Dr. Tran provides comprehensive eye examinations for patients of all ages, from children to older adults. His clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, dry eye disease, glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, and age-related macular degeneration, as well as myopia management, specialty contact lens care, and surgical co-management for cataract and refractive procedures. By combining evidence-based medicine with the latest diagnostic technology, he develops individualized treatment plans designed to preserve vision, optimize eye health, and enhance each patient's quality of life.

Dr. Tran is passionate about educating patients on the importance of preventive eye care and early detection of eye disease. Dr. Scott Shuldiner is a fellowship-trained ophthalmologist specializing in medical retina, advanced cataract surgery, and comprehensive ophthalmic care combing world-class academic training with a compassionate, patient-first approach to deliver the highest standard of personalized eye care. His clinical expertise spans the full spectrum of ocular health, with particular interests in medical retinal disease, state-of-the-art cataract surgery, and cosmetic and aesthetic eye care.

Dr. Shuldiner completed his prestigious fellowship in Medical Retina at the Bascom Palmer Eye Institute at the University of Miami, consistently ranked among the nation's leading eye hospitals. During his fellowship, he trained under internationally renowned retinal specialist Dr. Philip J. Rosenfeld, whose groundbreaking research transformed the treatment of age-related macular degeneration and retinal vascular disease. This advanced fellowship provided extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of complex retinal conditions, including age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, diabetic macular edema, retinal vein occlusions, central serous chorioretinopathy, inherited retinal disorders, and other sight-threatening diseases requiring advanced medical therapies.

Prior to fellowship, Dr. Shuldiner completed his ophthalmology residency at Massachusetts Eye and Ear, the primary teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, where he received comprehensive surgical and medical training in all aspects of ophthalmology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, one of the world's premier academic medical centers, and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University with distinction. His educational journey reflects a longstanding commitment to academic excellence, scientific discovery, and clinical innovation.

Throughout his career, Dr. Shuldiner has been recognized for outstanding achievements in research and global health. He was awarded a highly competitive Fulbright Scholarship to Hong Kong, where he pursued international research and cross-cultural collaboration, and a Doris Duke Foundation Clinical Research Fellowship in Cape Town, South Africa, further expanding his experience in academic medicine and global ophthalmic care. His scholarly work has resulted in more than a dozen peer-reviewed scientific publications and presentations at national ophthalmology meetings, contributing to advances in retinal disease, ophthalmic imaging, and patient care. He continues to collaborate with leading physician-scientists at institutions including Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, allowing him to remain at the forefront of emerging treatments, clinical research, and evolving technologies.

Dr. Shuldiner is dedicated to incorporating the latest innovations in ophthalmology into everyday clinical practice. He offers advanced cataract surgery utilizing premium intraocular lenses, laser-assisted surgical techniques, and customized refractive solutions designed to reduce dependence on glasses while optimizing visual outcomes.
